Für einen richtigen Urlaub bei Center Parks konnte ich mich bisher nicht wirklich begeistern, allerdings darf man die Hallenbäder der Parks auch einfach so als Tagesgast besuchen. Kein ganz günstiges Vergnügen (2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind unter 3 Jahren und 1 Auto ca 45€), aber für einen ganzen oder besonderen Tag lohnt es sich schon.

Wir haben den letzten Tag des Jahres im Aqua Mundo im Center Parks Kempervennen in der Nähe von Eindhoven verbracht.

Aqua Mundo

Vom Parkplatz ist es ein gutes Stück zu Fuß durch den Park bis zum Market Dome und dem Eingang zum Hallenbad. Hier bekommt ihr auch eure Tickets.

Die Umkleiden für Familien mit Babies sind zwar nicht super groß, aber dank Wickelablage und Sicherheitssitz trotzdem ziemlich ideal eingerichtet und das Umziehgewurschtel hält sich in Grenzen. Im Bad empfangen uns tropische Temperaturen. Wir suchen uns einen Platz mit Blick auf das Kinderbecken, Tische und Stühle gibt es genug, Liegen vermisse ich allerdings etwas. Trotz Ferien und Feiertag ist das Schwimmbad zwar gut besucht, aber auch nicht übervoll.

Rutschen, Fische und Wellen

Der Kinder- und Kleinkindbereich ist ägyptisch angehaucht und kommt bei den Kindern super an, das Wasser ist schön warm und vor allem die kleine Röhrenrutsche ist der Hit bei den Kleinen, ich kann es gar nicht glauben, dass meine Kleine da ganz allein mit einer riesigen Begeisterung zig Mal runterrutscht.
Bei der großen offenen und geschlossenen Röhrenrutsche kommt auch gleich: ‘ich kann das alleine!’, aber hier darf sie nur mit meneer zusammen. Mein persönliches Highlight die z.T. komplett dunkle Röhre, richtig schnell! Für mich war die Wildwasserrutsche hingegen nix, irgendwie langweilig.
Das Wellenbad kündigt sich mit Elefantengebrüll an, für Kleinkinder noch nicht wirklich etwas, zwischen den Wellen ist das Becken aber mit dem flach ansteigenden Wasser und max 1,6m Wassertiefe auch mit Kids prima. Durch die tropischen Temperaturen unter Kuppel des Aqua Mundo kommt einem das beheizte Wasser gar nicht so warm vor.

Ein weiteres Highlight, für Kinder, die sich mit Taucherbrille schon unter Wasser trauen, die Aquarien mit bunter Unterwasserwelt.

Tipp: Achtung vor den Steinen unter Wasser, Stoßgefahr – aua!

Wer sich die Fische lieber vom Trockenen ansieht, kann hinterm Becken zu den Aquarien schauen.

Tipp: Falls Ihr Schorchel und Taucherbrille vergessen habt ihr könnt sie auch kostenlos leihen, genauso wie Schwimmwesten.

Verpflegung

Offiziell darf man kein eigenes Essen oder Getränke mit ins Bad nehmen. Der Kiosk bietet neben dem typisch holländisch frittierten Essen auch Salat, Sandwiches und Joghurt an und die Preise sind hier zumindest human.

Wir hatten kids zwischen 2-6 Jahren dabei und die waren alle begeistert, besonders von den Rutschen. Für uns war der Ausflug ein voller Erfolg!

I guess I will never go on a vacation to Center Parks, however, you can visit the indoor pools of the parks just as a day guest. Actually not a cheap treat (2 adults, 1 child under 3 years and 1 car about 45 €), but for a special day it’s worth it.

We spent the last day of the year at the Aqua Mundo in the Center Parks Kempervennen near Eindhoven.

Aqua Mundo

From the parking lot it is quite a walk through the park to the Market Dome and the entrance to the indoor pool. Here you also get your tickets.
Tip: Tickets must be ordered online or by phone.
The changing rooms for families with babies are not super big, but thanks to the winding storage and security seat still pretty well furnished. In the pool area we get tropical temperatures. We are looking for a place overlooking the children’s pool, there are enough tables and chairs, but I miss beach chairs a bit. Despite holidays and public holidays, the swimming pool is well visited, but luckily not overcrowded.

Slides, fish and waves

The children love the kids pool, the water is nicely temperatured and especially the small tube slide is a hit for the kids, I can not believe, that my little one is sliding down with such great pleasure.
Even with the big open and closed tube slide: ‘I can do it alone!’, But here she is only allowed to slide with meneer together. My personal highlight the partly completely dark tube, really fast! For me, the wild water slide was nothing, kind a boring.
The waves in the pool are announced with elephant roars, for little children not really something, between the waves the pool with the shallow rising water and max 1.6m water depth also great with kids. Due to the tropical temperatures under the dome of the Aqua Mundo, the heated water is not that warm.
Another highlight, for children who dare to dive underwater, the aquariums with a colorful underwater world.
Tip: Beware of stones under water – ouch!
Those who prefer to watch the fish dry can have a look behind the pool to the aquariums.
Tip: If you forgot your snorkel and goggles, you can borrow them for free, as well as life vests.

Food

Officially, you are not allowed to bring your own food or drinks to the pool area. The kiosk offers salad, sandwiches and yoghurt in addition to the typical Dutch-fried food and the prices are ok here.

We visited the pool with kids between 2-6 years and they were all thrilled, they especially loved the slides. For us the trip was a great success!
