Was sind eure Top 3 der “Must Sees”?

I can not pass flea markets, bookshops and supermarkets to look for new travel guides. I buy books of countries which I plan to visit, which I would like to visit and probably I have a couple I will never go to. At least I am always well equipped for friends and family who also like to read old school travel guides.
After our last big Holiday in Curacao, I was a bit lost, somehow I did not know where to go next, after all, I’ve already seen ‘almost’ 7% of the world not so much left;-)
Time to think seriously about where to go on vacation in the next few years with our little one.

The East or Africa

Meneer also has a word to say, he has thrown Japan into the ‘to see’ pot, a country that I did not have on the screen, but I am open to everything. A bit of research has shifted our potential journey to Japan about two years backwards, it is strongly advised not to explore cities such as Tokyo with a push chair! Also Bali is on the wish list! In Africa I would love to see Namibia!

Cruise yes or no?

Meneer and I are relatively certain that we want to go on a cruise, the chances we love or hate it, are probably 50:50. The question we ask ourselves, will we like it to have only a coupöe of hours for land excursions and the masses of other people, will we not be terribly annoyed? On the other hand, so many people, especially with children do Cruises lately and they are thrilled, we have to try it out! When and where? Also a good question! However, also here we have to wait another year, many offers for children on the ships are from 3 years on. Scandinavia or rather the sun? Southern Europe probably not I have already seen too much of it and I want to discover new countries and cities. Perhaps the Baltic, in this area we have not been that much yet.

Friends abroad

Our friends like to stay abroad, USA would be a possibility, but I’m convinced  to go to the USA in this times, but I’ve seen some cheap flights that it is becoming more and more likely.
Brazil with Brazilians is somewhere in the middle of our list.

Why look into the distance,…

It does not always have to be a long-distance journey, I recently ‘fell in love’ with photos and reports of Slovenia. I must go there, maybe next summer! Also Scandinavia we have so far neglected, apart from Copenhagen, if it was not so expensive up there and I am simply a summer type

Once more

Both of us have been so enthusiastic about Malaysia that we definitely want to go there again. In Australia I was only without my loved ones, the two have to seen that amazing country. Also to Croatia I’ve only been on my own, definitely worth a visit.

That always works

There are a few classics, I can always go to: London, Berlin and Munich, but also because we can connect with friends there.

City trips

Short trips to the metropolises of Europe are not so easy with child, but we do it anyway: Since I saw  a lot of the European cities, not too much is left:  I still have to see Lisbon, Tallinn and St. Petersburg. If I had to call my top 3 now, Australia in any case, Malaysia and somehow also Scandinavia, would love to see the polar lights, nice to have Finnish friends ;-)!
