Seit ich mich mit dem Bloggen über kinderfreundliche Ausflugsziele beschäftige bekomm ich immer wieder tolle Tipps von Freunden und Bekannten – vielen Dank dafür! Das “Het Zand” hätte ich ohne sie wahrscheinlich nie kennengelernt.

Het Zand

Ein Restaurant, dass so schön und gemütlich eingerichtet ist, dass auch Leute ohne Kinder gerne hier essen. Für Familien mit Kindern absolut ideal. Jede Menge Hochstühle, nicht nur zwei oder drei wie sonst oft. Rampen, dass man auch mit Buggy überall problemlos hinkommt und ein eigenes großes Spielzimmer mit Kinderküche, Laufrad, Lego, Kreidetafeln zum Malen und noch viel mehr. Da flitzt auch mal der ein oder andere mit dem Bobbycar quer durchs Restaurant. Die Gäste und Kellner sind es gewöhnt und keiner regt sich auf. Da unser Tisch relativ weit vom Spielzimmer entfernt war, dachte ich schon, dass ich mich die meiste Zeit im oder zwischen Tisch und Spielzimmer aufhalten müsste. Aber nein! Erst war ich kurz mit meiner Kleinen im Spielzimmer und hab ihr alles gezeigt und auch den Weg zu unserem Tisch. Nach zweimal ‘Hilfe, ich seh meine Mama nicht  hat es super geklappt. Ab und zu kam sie vorbei hat mit uns am Tisch gegessen und den Rest der Zeit gespielt. Mit einem Auge immer zur Tür des Spielzimmers geschielt konnte ich mich trotzdem am Tisch unterhalten und hab mein Essen warm! gegessen! In so einem Restaurant ist das also nach 1,5 Jahren wieder möglich juhuu! Schade, dass es sowas nicht öfters gibt. Oder wo geht ihr mit euren Kleinen essen? Das Essen selbst war auch noch gut. Für Groß und Klein gibt’s typisch Holländisch Pfannkuchen, 3, 5, oder 7 Stück. Was drauf soll kann sich jeder selbst aussuchen, ob Käse, Kirschen oder Lachs für jeden Geschmack ist was dabei. Im Gegensatz zu den meisten Pfannkuchenrestaurants gibt’s hier auch Salat, Burger, Steak und Co. Die Preise sind Holländisch, sprich für die Niederlande normal im Vergleich zu Deutschland etwas teurer. Ein kleiner Miniminuspunkt, wickeln kann man nur auf einer Bank im Spielzimmer. Immerhin abgeschirmt hinter den Tafeln mit Windeleimer und Feuchttücher ausgestattet.
Wir konnten es zwar bei unserem Besuch im Nov nicht nutzen, aber für wärmere Temperaturen gibts hinterm Restaurant auch eine schöne Terrasse mit (Wasser)Spielplatz und Baumstamm zum Klettern. Beim Zahlen, dann noch eine Überraschung für die Kleinen. Jedes Kind darf sich aus einer grossen Kiste ein kleines Geschenk aussuchen, Sifte, Malblöcken, Sticker oder ähnliches. Ich war begeistert und meine Kleine sowieso!

A restaurant that is so nice and comfortably furnished that even people without children like to eat here. For families with children absolutely ideal. Lots of highchairs, not just two or three as often. Ramps, that you can go everywhere with a stroller and a big playroom with a children’s kitchen, Lego, chalkboards for painting and much more. Sometimes kids with Bobbycars crossing the restaurant. The guests and waiters are used to it and no one has a problem. As our table was relatively far away from the playroom, I was afraid I would spend most of my time in or between the table and the game room. But no! First I was briefly with my little one in the play oom and showed her everything and also the way to our table. After 2 times ‘help, I cant see my mom’ it worked out great. From time to time she came by and ate with us at the table the rest of the time she played. With one eye always watching the door of the playroom I could nevertheless still talk to the others and eat my meal warm! In such a restaurant, after 1.5 years this is possible juhuu! Too bad that there to less of theses restaurant. Or where do you go with your little ones? The food itself was also good. There are typical Dutch pancakes, 3, 5, or 7 pieces. Everyone can choose what they want on top, whether it is cheese, warm cherries or salmon something for every taste. In contrast to most pancake restaurants, there is also salad, burgers, steak and co. Prices are Dutch, so to speak normal for the Netherlands. Compared to Germany slightly more expensive. A small minus point, you can change diapers only on a bench in the game room. At least shielded behind the panels and equipped with wet tissues.
We could not use it during our visit in Nov, but for warmer days there is also a nice terrace with a (water) playground and a tree trunk for climbing. When paying, another surprise for the little ones. Each child is allowed to choose a small gift from a large box, such as pens, painting blocks or stickers. I loved it and my little one anyway!
